I, the Other (2011)

Abbie, an outstanding philosophy graduate is unravelling. Though she is on the path to a lauded academic career (her only wish), she is unable to balance her public and private persona's. Abbie's live-in ex-boyfriend tries to pull her away from obsessive study and heavy self medication but Abbie does not want salvation. Abbie begins to find control in a realm where there is none - through masochism. As Abbie searches for perfect submission, will her suffering ultimately free or destroy her?
