In the summer of 2010, two men arrive at Morachi Chincholi - a village in India approximately 200 kms from Bombay. Gerard Bond is a British photojournalist. Ravi Pandit is his Indian tourist guide. Chincholi is a natural habitat of peacocks and Gerard in on assignment to shoot the birds. Plain and simple? Not if it is up to the unpredictable Indian national bird. One minute, Gerard and Ravi are two ordinary men living ordinary lives facing ordinary roadblocks. The next minute, they choose to hurl themselves into a bizarre sequence of events that would be hilarious if not slightly tragic. A water well, a threat, a bet. The unwitting Fowl Men discover it takes all that and more to rescue themselves from lives stifled by ordinariness.
