More Than a Roof (2011)

More than A Roof is the outcome of citizen journalism fueled by a passion for human rights. Dozens of volunteer media makers, organizers and residents chronicled the cross-country journey of the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing as she investigated the human impacts of the U.S. housing crisis. This raw look at government abuse and abandonment is a powerful participatory model for movement-based media.
