TV talker Ulf Kramer likes it perfect. The self-loving womanizer drives a cool sled, lives in a dust-free designer apartment and dreams of a great TV career. How things should continue with girlfriend Anni is not in the foreground for the egocentric. She finally wants to take the step into life together, but he doesn't want to take on any responsibility. Anni has hardly left the argument when his nephew Aaron shows up. The boy who escaped from foster parents wants to stay with him of all people, at least temporarily. But for Ulf, who has little to do with his half-sister, that's not an option. After a short war of words with youth welfare worker Doris, he sends them both away again. But Aaron doesn't let himself be turned off that easily and knows how to help himself with ruthless means. So he can stay until a solution is found. Ulf now has to deal with a stubborn boy who speaks plain language and knows exactly what he wants. At the TV station, animal-loving Aaron wreaks havoc when he takes a cat off the roof. So Ulf also gets a problem with his chronically dissatisfied boss Norbert Henssler. He can't take care of his career because of Aaron. Especially since his sister, who had an accident, not only gave him responsibility for the boy, but also made a difficult decision. Right now he needs Anni, who is already being courted by her ex-boyfriend Gustav.
