Almost Married (2011)

A young woman from Turkey moves to Italy in search of a new life. She studies art, lives independently, and falls in love with an Italian man. Returning to Turkey to reconnect with her activist father, she must find a way to introduce her family to her fiancé, and to a life they would find unconventional. Father and daughter depart on a journey across the country. Travelling together, they participate in a series of amusing and emotional episodes, and soon find themselves sharing the stage in a piece of performance art.
