Following an ambush, LAPD's top cop/canine duo get framed for a crime they didn't commit. With time running out and a federal indictment for murder on the way, Officers Johnny Brett and Diego set out on a desperate search for their assailants (and perhaps a sexy midnight rendezvous or two). But each clue they uncover along the way only leads to more questions as the conspiracy to bring down our heroes grows by leaps and bounds with each episode.
