An in-depth look at one of NASCAR's most famous races. The final race of the 1992 season would be Richard Petty's last, and rookie Jeff Gordon's first. It was also a 3-way battle for the Sprint Cup (then Winston Cup) championship between Davey Allison, Bill Elliott and Alan Kulwicki. To this day, it is one of the closest points finishes in NASCAR history.
