Bypass (2012)

Xabi is a native of Bilbao who works in Barcelona. When he finds out that María, a friend from his childhood, is about to die from a serious and chronic heart disease, he rushes back to Bilbao to bid farewell to her. Once there, talking with other friends, he finds out that Maria has always been in love with him. To bring a bit of happiness in the last moments of her life, Xabi lies to her and tells her that he, too, has always been in love with her. But after some time María will momentarily and miraculously recover and Xabi will decide to continue with the deception, even if it also means lying to his pregnant girlfriend from Barcelona.
