Based on the true and tragic events of the Black Saturday bushfires, Changes tells the story of one Australian family, the Millers. Anne and Michael Miller have carved out a little piece of paradise for their family in the bush, but it quickly becomes far more complicated when their youngest, John, is diagnosed with autism. Struggling with John's special needs and the teenage angst of his older sister Alexandra, two decades pass while Anne and Michael fight to keep their family together. Life proves both bitter and sweet, as their choices lead to one hot and infamous summer that changes their lives forever.
