Arif, a young director, sets to make a film based on Mahabharata episode of Eklavya's offering of honorarium to his Guru Dronacharya. Eklavya sacrifice his right thumb as honorarium to Dronacharya to uphold Arjuna's supremacy in archery, which caused the end of Eklavya's potential as an archer. While shooting he learns from a Santal who gathers to see the shooting that for archery the arrow needs to be held between right index and middle fingers- the thumb has no role to play in it. This revelation makes Arif and his associate Shaila to rethink the matter. Arif thinks a lot about it and find something new that makes him to change the screenplay of his film.
