The Waiting Game (2014)

The whole film is about a woman overcoming her rape. Flashbacks of the rape (though while not explicit) are shown throughout, including a point-of-view flashback of the rape, and recounts of sexual assaults (including child sexual abuse) are discussed in detail throughout various points of the film.

A woman sits in the shower in a couple of scenes. The first time, she is wearing a dress. The second time, she is naked (we only see shoulders for the most part, so nudity is implied).

A woman sits in the shower with cuts and bruises. Blood is seen flowing down the plug hole from between her legs (nothing is seen in terms of the woman, just the blood)

A man is tackled to the ground during a police raid (not graphic)

10 uses of the word fuck, 2 uses of cunt, plus a few brief aggressive expletives like cock, ass, bastard, slut and blasphemy. Very descriptive accounts of sexual assaults (including a couple regarding child rape) which spare no detail.

A woman is asked if she drinks alcohol or takes medication. She replies no.

The scenes which describe the sexual assaults in great detail might make most viewers uncomfortable.

The overall tone and theme of the movie might put off some people.
