Devil and the Nail (2012)

After a traumatic experience, an American doctor moves to a remote Indian village to heal the poor. He believes that through healing people he can heal himself. There, he finds a new life with a loving Indian wife who is pregnant when the movie starts. Everything is looking truly promising, but then he starts having a series of visions. His wife tells him he's haunted, but he dismisses her superstitions. The less he sleeps, the more of a nightmare his life becomes. When a strange woman moves into his house after a car accident, her truly odd behavior is something he can't ignore: is she sent from heaven or hell? Fighting against his own paranoia, he begins to wonder if maybe the Indian superstitions he always dismissed have some elements of truth.
