Victor is a medication smuggler. He takes trips to South America, purchases medications legally, then smuggles it into the USA. He then sells it to his costumers whom are already established and are in need of these products for a fraction of the cost locally. Even though he is content in how he does business, he is constantly reminded by Bill, his friend and partner in this ordeal, on the potential to make much more money if they were to expand and sell to a broader market. Bill ends up introducing Victor to a new client, Elena, who is in need of a special medication for her father. Even though Victor doesn't like to take on new clients, he sees her in need and decides to help her. This reminds him of why he is in this business in the first place. The help to Elena comes right in the moment when Bill is pushing very hard for them to expand the business, making Victor raise more questions about the whole deal. During the most recent trip to pick up more medication, he gets a vibe around town and notices that things are not the same, he feels as though he's being followed. He suspects that he's been set up by somebody and tries to figure out who is behind it and who would betray him. After figuring out who this person is, he plans a revenge. This turn of events makes him re-think the reason he is in this business in the first place and how he got involved in smuggling; to help people and more importantly, to help his daughter who was ill.
