'So Help You God' is a mixed media documentary experience that tells the story of six Kentuckians, including three women, who were sentenced to life in prison when they were teenagers. Rich in animated and archival elements, 'So Help You God' is raw, yet poetic in style and is the first time the defendants, prosecutors, families, and community citizens come together in a collective piece that explores the lasting impact of a high profile murder case on a southern community and its citizens. This is also the first documentary to bring together all six of the highly sensationalized defendants, who deliver authentic and emotionally engaging interviews.
