'The Power of Drama' follows the lives of the only blind acting troupe. Program creator Christina Kokubo amazed by the silence at Braille Institute, decides to prove students may have lost their sight but not their voices. Her new students traumatized by hearing their own voices, take months to say a single word. One year later, students perform their first play to teachers and friends. With this success, Christina dreams of creating a blind acting academy. Well on her way, Christina dies of cancer. Volunteer Greg Shane along with Bryan Caldwell and Colin Simson, continue and expand the program. This year marks the success of the program with a 15 show run of the play 'Private Eyes,' changing the lives of both performers and volunteers.
