Destinies Crossed (2003)

A teacher, inspired as a child by the ill-fated Space Shuttle Challenger mission, faces her worst fears when she learns of the Columbia shuttle disaster in 2003. Her fourth-grade class enjoys an educational teleconference with Mission Control in Houston only hours before Columbia's fateful decent to Earth. When the children return to school, teachers and students alike must cope with the tragedy and find some resolution to the situation.
