Crossing the Line (2012)

For the first time some of Iranian prominent film makers, actors and producers speak about restrictions, censorship and limitations attached to the film industry under the Islamic rules and regulations. Crossing the Line is the journey of a New Zea land Iranian filmmaker who travels to Iran in the hope of making a fiction film, which eventually stopped because of many problems created by the system. Like many other Iranian filmmakers giving up was not an option for the director. She makes a documentary about the whole journey and discusses some of the untold issues inside Iran film industry.
