Nothing as It Was (2013)

The life of 16-year-old Daniel (Jonas Nay) goes completely off track when he is held responsible for the murder of a small boy who was abused and killed. When he is seen near the crime scene, he immediately becomes a suspect, and when he tries to run away before being interrogated, the police treat him as a criminal. Then an overzealous police commissioner publicly names the teenager as the perpetrator and the media and then the local citizens assume he is the culprit. A hunt begins in which the entire Gudermann family is targeted. When his father finds out that Daniel is secretly gay, even he doubts his son's innocence. Inspired by a true story.
