Black Wheels (2005)

This significant and important long form documentary sheds considerable light upon the often-neglected achievements of African-Americans in motor sports from the 1920's to the present. Black Wheels highlights the on-the-track exploits of Black racecar drivers like Charlie Wiggins, Joie Ray, Wendell Scott, Willey T. Ribbs and Bill Lester. It also explores the history and the future of diversity in auto racing.
