Life in Entertainment (2013)

Life in Entertainment follows the main character Wayne Poors, who is trying to follow in the footsteps of his idol Shane Richie, in pursing his dream of being a West End Performer. Wayne feels stuck and suffocated by his job at a small holiday campsite and is eager to break out and make it as a blue coat at Pontins. Unfortunately for Wayne, his talents are at their limit and without any of his friends and peers to tell him that he's not good enough, he carries on chasing his childhood dream whilst running the entertainments team 'The Cardigans' at Seeview holiday camp. In the pilot episode, the manager of the park Paul Wells, is currently re-branding the site due to an episode of 'Watchdog' revealing the campsites problems. The management team feel frustrated when they hire in two university students to produce a new promotional video for the site, only to be left with a bad video with an inappropriate joke.
