Back to the Roots (2014)

Fred Bonnemaison, a driven and self-centered Parisian food writer has to return to his home town, Lyon, when his mother, a lively octogenarian, runs away to join a community of free-thinking widows. While Fred soon manages to bring Suzanne back, it's after a series of disasters which mean he's forced to stay longer than expected in his native town. This involuntary return even ends up with a public humiliation during a local fête, from which Fred thinks he'll never recover. Unless that is - What if Fred, who's convinced he's lost everything, simply goes for it and wins? What if it's never too late to change your life?
