In terms of mature themes, the documentary focuses on the radicalization of a country's 'disillusioned' left- leaning youths who were vociferous in their criticism of their country's politics. It depicts them constantly advocating and resorting to violence as justified means to espouse their cause. Their rhetoricals were matched by actual violent street protests where the youths would clash with the authorities.
Perhaps the documentary's most controversial scene is when footage from a short film in the documentary depicts a detailed & instructional guide on how to make a Molotov cocktail.
The documentary also features media reports which cover a militant groups usage of terror tactics such as exploding bombs or hijacking a passenger plane.
