Frequent graphic violence in the crime reconstructions, some of it bloody and gory. Actual autopsies are shown following each reconstruction.
From the very first scene of a caveman stabbing another to death, the docudrama features various injuries and fatalities caused by knife-wielding criminals or the cops acting in self-defence. These scenes are intense and sometimes disturbing despite their camp value.
Profanity
Severe
Frequent strong language.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
Moderate
Numerous scenes of people drinking or smoking. Some criminals are implied to be drug addicts or dealers.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
Moderate
The docudrama is bleak and depressing at times given the subject of violent knife crime and the police officers having to deal with it. Every scenario is a potential life-or-death situation. Each criminal is presented as psychotic or emotionally unstable. Some of the real life cops being interviewed end up crying when they remember being stabbed and scarred for life. All in all, despite some comedic and campy scenes, the overall tone is dark and downbeat.
