The Bombay Police Act 1951 has not been revised since its inception. Nor has anyone bothered to follow it till now until suddenly and quite conveniently Mr. Dhoble decided to use it against the people of Mumbai. Many were beaten, many more arrested for non-compliance with the utter silliness of this law. DOUBTY DHOBLE is a tribute to the social anarchy that the urban, common man of India is subjected to.
