MJ is a guy who let life beat him up, and when life beat him up Jasmine was there to help him. While chasing their dreams of being artists in NYC, the comfort of their relationship and the realities of life derailed them. For Jasmine, this was her cue to exit the relationship and focus on her dream; as for MJ, he set out to win his life and his girl back.
