Rock and or Roll (2014)

Kevin is caught in the midst of looking at a dodgy Battle of the Bands poster by his long term crush, Julia. He signs up in order to impress her. We follow Kevin as he incompetently forms a band with his best friend, Joel - whom's father despises his association with the band and the mysterious dark knight, Cool Steve, who the boys quickly learn his drumming is not about keeping rhythm and rather about hospital visits. The boys attempt to debut at a charity gig run by Julia, performing a love song - only to fall to pieces.
