En no Manako (2014)

One father, two mothers, and a child from each; the family of four resides in a peaceful suburb in Yokohama. Despite the complicated family dynamics, they treat each other with love. For the children, living with two mothers has become normal, but talking about their father is still taboo. Their father left before the youngest child Yugi was born, abandoning his two wives and daughter Nayuki. Yugi only knows him through the story told by the three women. Yugi's curiosity for his father grows, along with his desire to meet him. Unable to discuss his feelings with his two mothers, his older sister Nayuki is the only one he can confess to. Nayuki is preoccupied with her decision to study art abroad and is apathetic about her father. Yet, Yugi's plan to reunite with their father plants a seed in her mind.
