Layla

Four hours after her birth Layla, the Kurdish girl in Turkey, is being engaged to her cousin. At the age of 15, after her wedding night, it becomes clear to Layla, that the only way of survival is to flee her native country and her family. With the help of her own brother, she is trafficked through Germany, up north to Finland, "The Land of White Lilies". She joins the hundreds of thousands who follow the dangerous refugee routes through Europe.
