Host of The Quotable Woman Web Series Elaine Partnow first contextualizes each of several notable women of history, then goes on to portray that woman in her own words after a brief documentary section showing her going through the transformation via costumes and make-up. The first of several planned series, Global Women Speak presents Murasaki Shikibu, Juana Ines de la Cruz, Sarah Winnemucca, Sojourner Truth, Dolores Ibarruri, Golde Meir, and Benazir Bhutto.
