When a French teenager went looking for artifacts in his back garden he unearthed more than he bargained for - the remains of eight Canadian soldiers from the First World War. Using war records and DNA, the Department of National Defence set out to identify the men. That investigation brought together distant relatives from both sides of the Atlantic who traveled to France to learn more about their long lost relatives.
