Like other beings from the Upper Realm, no.174 does not show any basic human emotions, but he has always been curious about what humans feel, especially when one's negative energy reaches breaking point. So, he has a habit of sneaking to Earth to observe and question the people whose life has hit rock bottom. However, when no.174 tried to question a jinxed loser, Dick Jian, they accidentally switched identities. Dickie gets to experience being a controller of luck in the Upper Realm while no.174 is stuck on Earth living Dick's life, which is full of unfortunate events.
