As always, the first thing Mia does before entering her cosy Dublin apartment is to check her mail, skimming through important and boringly insignificant letters. However, this time, a plain but queerly different envelope by a certain Mr Eckles stands out--a grim bearer of a spine-chilling string of unexplained events, as yet another message arrives on the following day, paired with an uncanny and neatly-presented gift.
