Rift I Duhi (2018)

After the demise of his Indian mother, Max, an adopted westernized music enthusiast, travels to a rural Indian village with his grieving father, Richard, and meets his estranged orthodox grandfather, Dada, for the first time. Instead of carrying out his mother's final wish, these three mismatched generations find themselves dealing with unresolved issues and cultural clashes. Frustrated with the alien surroundings and the constant bickering between his father and grandfather, Max, a city softened couch potato, who doesn't know squat about the wilderness, runs away with his mother's ashes. Richard and Dada are forced to work together and their search leads them into a wild forest, plagued with animal poaching tribes.
