The Buoy (2017)

The Buoy takes place in the present day, a year after Charlotte has returned from being stranded on an uninhabited island. Now, living by herself, Charlotte suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder which causes her to be emotionally detached. One day, her brother comes to her house bearing a package for her. Inside the package is the message in a bottle she had sent out when she was stranded. On the back of her message there is a reply. This reply starts her and her brother off on a journey to find the person who wrote the reply, while finding the part of herself that she lost in the process.
