School Service (2018)

Maya is walking home in her province when the service stops beside her and offers her a lift. She innocently takes the ride to reach home faster, but to her horror the service does not stop at her place. She soon realizes that she has been taken, along with the other kids inside the crammed school service. Soon she is miles and miles away from home--in fact, it's the unfamiliar land of Manila. By dusk, the children are dropped off along the national highway and put to work begging for alms. Forced to endure the harsh conditions of street life, Maya continues to hope for her freedom that might never happen.
