In 1974, Bob Marley befriended a young, aspiring photographer by the name of Dennis Morris who would soon become responsible for all of the reggae legend's most iconic images. Not long after his days with Bob Marley and The Wailers, Dennis switched gears and began taking photos of the Sex Pistols, a rambunctious punk rock group from England. In this documentary, Dennis walks us through his photo exhibition of the Sex Pistols as he recounts his incredible time with Johnny Rotten, Sid Vicious, Steve Jones and Paul Cook. Not only do we learn about the unique personalities of each band member, but we gain insight into the unprecedented cultural revolution that resulted from the ascension of the band. And despite the rapid rise and fall of the Pistols, Dennis Morris fondly looks back on the year that was 1977- A year in which he lived alongside four music icons who will forever be remembered for their refusal to live by the status quo.
