Kolaigaran (2019)

The film features strong violence involving scenes of hand to hand combat action, strangulations and intense killings with weapons such as knives, stones etc.

In the aftermath of a violent act a decomposed corpse is shown with a crushed head, shots of the man's corpse are intrercut with brief shots of his murder which inlcude a rock being smashed into his head and sight of his corpse being set alight - flashback's to his murder are repeated throughout the film including one which contains significant detail. In one scene, the corspe is examined in a medical context - during this scene his internal organs are shown as is his skin which is pulled backwards. There are some shots in which his crushed head is clearly visible from a slight distance although the most detailed close-ups are blurred.

There is use of mild bad language. There are also verbal references to mental illness.

There are scenes in which charecters are seen drinking and smoking. However anti-smoking and anti-drinking disclaimers are provided prior to the film, following the interval in the film and during scenes featuring smoking/drinking products.

There are scenes of strong threat, in which violent criminals terrorise innocent characters.
