This is a documentary that depicts and unravels the 1958 stabbing of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by a deranged Black Woman named Izola Ware Curry with a Japanese Letter Opener. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital where they said had Dr. King nearly sneezed or coughed he would have died and the Civil Rights movement as we know it today would have never happened. Dr. King spoke about it in his last speech saying had he coughed or sneezed he wouldn't have been around. This project is unique and engaging as JMG were privileged to interview many of the people who were present during the incident. See below. Nurses from Harlem Hospital that assisted Dr. King in the ER Allyne Spinner: Social Worker for Izola Ware Curry during that time Izola Ware Curry and her family Bob Magnum Congressman Charles Wrangle NYPD officers Al Howard and Phil Romano (arresting officers) John Cordice, MD (only living surgeon from the original team) Former Mayor David Dinkins Ron Naclero & Gloria Naclerio (wife and son of performing surgeon) !
