Life is good. Work is good, especially if you're the owner and sole employee and your rep is rising. Your marriage is just okay, but that's fine by you - puts you slightly ahead of the curve. A new week starts tomorrow. One last, late night, weekend errand. Your special order just came in. You've picked it up and now you're headed for your car in the rear parking lot. And then you accidentally (and literally) bump into a man drowning in the depths of depression, his mental state further fueled by alcohol. The violent confrontation results in a severe brain injury for you. But just as you disengage, which sends you stumbling backward and cracking open your skull on the pavement, you manage to push your assailant away. Right into the path of a vehicle driving through the alleyway that separates the shops and the parking lot. He dies - and now you're someone's target.
