Dee Penn

Dee Penn is an American comedian, actor and voice-over talent. Born in Martinsville, VA, he is the 7th child of nine. After his father's death at a young age. His mother raised her younger children as a single parent. Times were difficult but she instilled in him the knowledge that he could do anything he put his mind to doing. Being a middle child of a large family, you can go unnoticed, not Dee. At a young age, he found the ability to make people laugh. He continues to this day to entertain his family at gatherings and random moments. He was the first person in his family to attend and graduate from college. He received a BS from Radford University in Virginia and a MS from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Beginning his comedy debut at the DC Improv, he immediately fell in love. He continues to perform stand up and still loves the rush of being on stage. After many requests to accept acting roles, he began acting in 2022. His first project in 2022 was a voice-over role. He has the ability to perform many voice accents and sounds from, sounding like a child to his favorite character Umpoopoo. Umpoopoo is an American man with an African accent. A must see to fully understand. He completed work on Amber Alert 2023 and will begin his latest project Turned Out, the prequel 2023.
