Tommy Corrigan is an Australian actor and writer, born on June 26, 1998 in Melbourne, Australia. He began attending acting classes at the age of 18 and in 2021, he completed an advanced full time Acting course, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his career. His earliest influences include Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Hutchence and Tupac Shakur. Prior to pursuing his career, he spent 5 years working in Australian Archaeology while attending Acting classes. His passion for Australian Archaeology and Cultural Heritage comes from his proud Aboriginal background, where he identifies as an 'Arrernte' Aboriginal man and continues to participate in cultural practices. He received a High School basketball scholarship in 2010 to Rowville Sports Academy. Within 2 years of attending, in 2011 and 2012, he played in 2 State Basketball Championships. In 2012 he was awarded the Most Valuable Player in the Championship game, playing as a shooting guard, scoring 22 points. In 2013, he represented the state of Victoria, at the Under 15's National Indigenous Football carnival in Townsville. Where Victoria fell short to Western Australia in the final Championship game. After the National carnival, he returned to Melbourne to continue training in the National Intensive Training Program (NITP) in basketball. His dedication saw him once again selected in the Victorian State Indigenous Football team in 2016 and 2017. Where he was awarded the N.A.I.D.O.C Indigenous Athlete of the Year award. In Los Angeles, he continues to regularly participate in pick - up basketball games whilst continuing to progress in his career.
