Sofia Carvalho

Sofia Alexandra Figueiredo Rodrigues Carvalho was born on February 28, 2011 in Cascais, Portugal to Portuguese parents, Daniela Carvalho (a Clinical Psychologist) and Ricardo Carvalho (an IT Consultant). At the age of three the family moved to Ireland where she resides ever since. She's proud of her Portuguese heritage but Ireland will always have a special place in her heart. At the age of 9, after having drama classes, she began acting at the local theatre and at the age of 11 she had the opportunity to star in some films and continue to chase her dream of becoming a movie star. Her first film appearance was as in the 2023 short film "The Key" by Award Winning Director Danielle McCormick (Dani).
