Charles Andrew Bradley was born in Charleston, West Virginia and raised in nearby St. Albans by his mother Betty and father Paul and is the eldest of their two sons. His fascination with aircraft and anything electrical was not shared by his younger brother Mark who became an accomplished guitarist. After attending St. Albans High School, Chuck was drafted into the Armed Forces during the Vietnam War, and served in the United States Air Force, which solidified his love of aviation. After the war, with an Honorable Discharge from the USAF, he returned to St. Albans and worked at Yeager Airport on aircraft until deciding to earn an engineering degree at West Virginia Institute of Technology. While attending college he worked part time at the family newsstand business in St. Albans as well as doing part time work as an on-air personality on several AM and FM radio stations in the area. After studying communications systems and computer science, Chuck graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and began his engineering career designing wireless systems and later migrated to software engineering just as the internet industry was taking off. During this time he had never lost his passion for aviation and earned a Private Pilot license which he had started in 1972 while in the Air Force. Now retired in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he spends time on his aviation and aerobatics hobby at a local airport with his latest sport plane and uses it to travel and visit family and friends. After learning that Pittsburgh was becoming such a popular location for the film industry, particularly after film tax credit incentives and becoming known as the Hollywood of Appalachia, he decided to try his hand as a film extra in the growing Pittsburgh TV/movie industry and signed up with a local casting agency. Chuck eventually got chosen as a Background Actor for the Netflix movie production of The Deliverance starring Glenn Close. Shortly after that project, he got the opportunity to participate in the filming of Season 2 of the Paramount+ hit series Mayor of Kingstown (2021) created by Hugh Dillon and Taylor Sheridan and starring Jeremy Renner. He was fortunate enough to perform in several scenes and quickly realized a passion for it as well as now having the time to pursue it. Soon after, Chuck then got the opportunity to be chosen as a background actor in Season 2 of the Showtime TV Series American Rust (2021) starring Jeff Daniels and Maura Tierney and is presently involved in that production.
