Alexandra Hyland

Alexandra Hyland, Chilean director, and screenwriter, studied Film at the Catholic University of Chile and since 2015 began work as a screenwriter and production assistant at “Trebor Film”. Sometime later in 2016, she worked as a writer and executive producer of “Demente Contenido” where she drives more than ten projects that included both films and TV shows such as the biographical film “Gabriela”, based on the best-selling novel about the life of the Chilean poet. That same year she began work on her debut film “Outsider Girls”, a comedy about two close friends who share the idea of having an abortion at the same time, a piece that participated in various laboratories and won the Tribeca Award to participate in the Tribeca Industry Market in New York.
