Eddy Jay Rock is an African American actor born and raised on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Of his four siblings, he is the youngest. His early exposure to acting came from the numerous church productions he participated in as a child. He knew he wanted to pursue a career in acting/entertainment, but there were no training options available to him. Eddy later completed high school in 2007, and in the fall of 2008, he enrolled at The Art Institute of Washington,D.C. where he completed his undergraduate studies in graphic art and design. Before ultimately taking a leap of faith and departing from his hometown of MD to chase his aspirations. Eddy would spend the following seven years working as a graphic artist on a contract basis for the D.C. government. Eddy moved to the Atlanta area in February 2020, but his acting ambitions had to be put on hold due to the pandemic. He finally began his training at Nick Conti's Professional Actors Studio in 2021, and he is presently studying with actor Angela Davis at ActHER Studios. He excels at acting and enjoys recording self-tape monologues to hone his skills. He is ready for work and eager to one day leave his regular 9-to- 5 job and become a full-time actor.
