Emma Beyer

Emma was born in Peoria, Illinois and grew up in Central Illinois. Although born to two college professors, Emma comes from a long line of musical performers. Emma has several careers in her life. She worked for several years as a public school teacher in New York City as well as a reporter and journalist. Emma graduated with a sociology and political science degree from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. She later attended St. John's University in New York, earning a teaching degree and the University of Missouri, where she earned a Master's of Arts in journalism. Although Emma participated in theater as a child, she did not resume an interest in theater until the pandemic. Since 2019, she has been featured in several theater productions and play festivals. She has also directed several regional theater shows.
