Hunter Groves

Hunter Groves is a Prop and Practical Effects artist from Kentucky. He has done props for several low budget stage productions as well as the props and practical effects on the feature film Pesadilla (2024). Hunter began amateur prop-making in the early 2010's and attributes his inspiration to pursue filmmaking to Director Tim Burton and Special Effects Artist Phil Tippett, two of his favorite creators in the Stop-Motion genre of film as well as Master Special Effects artist, Tom Savini. He joined the United States Air Force in 2014, learning carpentry and welding to enhance his skills in Set building and tool knowledge.
