Born in Uxbridge, Middlesex (now London) the son of an English mother and Jamaican father. The 3rd of 8 children, brought up in Ealing, West London. [1976 - 1980] Attended Reynolds High School, Acton, London where he met future band mate Mick Wigfall. Played drums in various rockabilly bands after leaving school - these include The Rock-Its (with Mick Wigfall) , Louisiana Hayride (with Paul Maitland), Rabbit Action* and The Cobras* Played first gig at The White Hart, Southall, Middlesex on 17 March 1982 - whilst still only 17. First film involvement was Virtual Sexuality [1999] where he was an uncredited crowd scene member. That same year he had uncredited roles in Tube Tales (man at top of the stairs - Mr.Cool segment) and as a blonde reporter in series 3 episode 1 of Sky One's footballing soap opera Dream Team. [1994] Appeared as himself as a contestant in an episode of Trivial Pursuit hosted by Tony Slattery - series 2 episode 43 [2000] - Met up with former band mate Paul Maitland during a run of John Collis' acclaimed rock and roll musical Race With The Devil - The Legend Of Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent. The cast also performed as a band and did several gigs outside of the theatre after the Rosemary Branch run had ended. * With Mick Wigfall
