Pablo Torre

Pablo Torre Carral is a professional Spanish footballer who plays for FC Barcelona and the Spain national team. He is a talented attacking midfielder who stands out for his ability to take players on, his vision in the final third of the pitch, and his powerful shot, being particularly skilled in taking free kicks. Torre made his senior career debut during the 2020-21 season, at the age of just 17, for the Racing de Santander first team in the old Second Division B. Quickly, he became a regular in the side of his childhood club. By the end of the following season, Pablo Torre was one of the top performers in the newly formed Primera División RFEF, ultimately helping Racing win promotion back to the Segunda División. In March 2022, Racing Santander reached an agreement with FC Barcelona for the transfer of Torre, who officially joined the Club in the summer of that year. Initially, Pablo Torre was assigned to FC Barcelona's B team, Barça Atlètic, for the 2022-23 season. However, his talent on the field was quickly spotted by the legendary former Barça player and manager Xavier Hernández, and Torre was called up to join and practice with the first team for the remainder of the season. In September 2022, he made his official debut with the first team during the Club's first match of the 2022-23 Champions League season against Viktoria Plzen in the group stages, coming on for Franck Kessié in the 81st minute. Torre would make his LaLiga debut for Barcelona at Camp Nou the following month in their match against Athletic Club. He was included in Barça's starting XI for the first time on 1 November 2022 in their Champions League second leg group stage match against Viktoria Plzen, where he scored his first club and Champions League goal in a 4-2 victory. Torre's goal at the age of just 19 years and 212 days makes him the second youngest FC Barcelona player to score in his first Champions League start, topped only by Giovani dos Santos.
