Joey Arvizu

Joey Arvizu is a stand-up comedian who also creates online content. He acts and records voice acting as well. Born in Northern California Joey is primarily of Italian, Hispanic and Native American decent. He was accepted into the G.A.T.E (gifted and talented education) program in elementary school, he also earned his high school credits the local community college instead. Gifted an old video camera from his grandfather Joey made tapes and tapes of self filmed comedy shows, puppet shows and camera magic tricks. He created his own news broadcast parody on public access at the age of 12. His first attempt at stand-up comedy at the age of 30 saw him winning against 12 other seasoned touring comedians. (They were not happy). His favorite places to perform are at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco and the Punchline in both San Francisco and Sacramento. He's also performed at George Lopez's comedy club The Punchliner aboard Carnival Cruises. He can be found online under the username TheItalianScarecrow.
